Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The image is enlarged on your own device. Only the small AI model files are downloaded the first time.
Why does it take time?
The AI runs on your phone or computer, not on a server. Small images finish quickly, larger images are processed piece by piece and take longer.
Can AI add real detail to a very blurry photo?
It makes edges cleaner and the photo larger, but it cannot recover details that were never captured. Transparent areas become white.
